PENGARUH KEGIATAN EKSTRAKURIKULER KEAGAMAAN TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DAN BUDI PEKERTI PESERTA DIDIK KELAS IV DI SDN 3 LAMOKATO

Extracurricular activities play an important role in developing students’ potential and broadening their horizons regarding how religious extracurricular activities influence students’ behavior development at SDN 3 Lamokato. This is due to the fact that many students still show low participation in extracurricular activities, and some exhibit less desirable behavior, such as lack of discipline. Therefore, these activities are necessary to enhance students’ religious knowledge, which in turn is expected to improve their learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education and Character Building. The research question in this study is whether there is an influence of religious extracurricular activities on the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education and Character Building among fourth grade students at SDN 3 Lamokato. The purpose of this study is to find out how religious extracurricular activities affect the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education and Character Building among these students. This study used a quantitative research method with an associative research design. The population was all fourth grade students at SDN 3 Lamokato. The sampling technique used was Simple Random Sampling. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The research instruments consisted of a questionnaire and a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques included descriptive analysis, prerequisite tests, and hypothesis testing. Based on hypothesis testing, it was found that tcount > ttable = 7.981 > 1.984, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence of religious extracurricular activities on the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education and Character Building at SDN 3 Lamokato. The regression coefficient of 0.567 indicates a positive relationship, meaning the more active the students are in religious extracurricular activities, the better their learning outcomes. The independent variable’s influence on the dependent variable is 0.394 or 39.4%, while the remaining 60.6% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study, such as family environment, learning motivation, methods, etc.
