This study examines the human resource management (HRM) strategies employed by Bank Muamalat KCP Kolaka, focusing on their effectiveness in enhancing employee competencies and organizational efficiency. HRM is critical for achieving organizational goals, involving activities such as planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring. The research highlights two key aspects of HRM: job roles, which pertain to positions filled by qualified individuals, and the execution of tasks, which includes planning, directing, and controlling organizational activities to achieve specific objectives. Bank Muamalat KCP Kolaka has implemented various strategies to adapt to the increasingly sophisticated and globalized banking industry. These include organizational restructuring, process innovation, technology optimization, and flexible policy-making. The study identifies two forms of employee development: informal, driven by individual initiative, and formal, facilitated by the organization through structured training programs. The primary goal of these HRM strategies is to improve work effectiveness and efficiency, ensuring that employees are well-equipped to meet organizational targets. The research employs a qualitative case study approach, utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis to gather data. The findings indicate that effective HRM strategies at Bank Muamalat KCP Kolaka have led to improved employee performance, increased motivation, and better adaptability to change. This study contributes to the broader understanding of HRM in Islamic banking institutions, offering insights into how strategic HRM practices can enhance both employee and organizational performance. The results underscore the importance of continuous employee development and innovation in maintaining competitiveness in the banking sector.
